It looks like it's official guys the Hobby Shop is closing. I did hear a rumour that Hobby Town was looking at Visalia. Looks like road trips to Fresno for supplies.

Kim I would but racers talk a good game but when it comes to delieveryring well a lot of times they dont deliever.  Support you the shop that supports you and it goes both ways .  So I stock what I can sell .  I have supported tcrc for a long time and give and good deal to the racers.  Order from me you don't pay tax and shipping and 99 percent of time I can compete with legitimited online hobbshops. So I have not seen overwaivering support so from the racers so why should I put my neck out.

no.......  jim........, just certain racers ! Grin  i think the hobbie shop in hanford is going down too, havent seen the open sign on the door in over 2 weeks! Sad/been trying to catch them open to buy a can of air for my airbrush! Cry i think a hobbie shop can survive or even thrive in visalia but it will take someone with good bussness sence not trying to get rich quick.... and be dedicated!)

well the reason I have survived is being smart and supporting the people that support Me.   So support your local hobbyshop or if you don't you they go away.   Especially if they will compete with mail order of legitimate hobbyshops.

Bought my 1st, 2nd ,3rd, 4th, etc cars or buggies there. Also no idea how many planes I bought from the shop. It's really sad to see it go. But unfortunately it started going down hill after Connie's Dad died. See you guys tonight.

That's NOT true, the shop has been having "problems" for at least 3 years, Their are so many contributing factors it's not fair to point at Connie and say "your fault".
Then to think that a shop that's having problems is going to stock parts for racers who won't shop their is crazy.

1st I never said it was Connie's fault. 2nd I did support the Hobby Shop for many years. I still would if they had inventory.
